The views from the chateau de Barroux are spectacular, it's nearly worth going there just to take a picture. The place itself is being restored slowly, and a fine job is being done to it. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. So much history here. The guide book supplied is quite informative and the admission fee is reasonable.

The Chateau is a must see for anyone visiting Le Barroux, which is a very quiet village built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the surrounding plains.
